If you are a new member or have chosen a new Florida Blue health plan, you will receive a new member ID card with your plan documents. In some cases, you may receive the card in a separate envelope. If you change plans but your previous plan name remains the same, you will not receive a new card automatically. This is because your benefit information is stored in the magnetic stripe on the back of the card.
You can print paper ID cards at any time through your online account, and you can view your ID card from any mobile device using the Florida Blue mobile app. If you have questions about your ID card, call the Customer Service number on your member ID card or 1-800-FLA-BLUE (352-2583), Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time. From October 1 through March 31, Florida Blue is open seven days a week, except for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
